2) A List of your own: Most affiliates do not realize the important of this factor as they always send traffic directly to the merchant page. This is the number one mistake most new affiliates do when they first started. The reason you need a list is because you can continuously email your leads promoting any new products or products related to their needs instead of a one time advertisement with PPC.
3) A good Relation with your List: Once your visitors sign up to your list, you have to build a good relationship with your list by giving them useful information they need and constantly show your concern about their success and not just keep on sending them emails to buy this and buy that. Once you have the trust of your list, you will find that you can easily promote them things that they need and they will not see it as hard selling. Sometime, i even have people in my list asking to buy from me something other people are promoting as they want to let me earn the commission instead of another person out there.
Once you understand the fact that you are dealing with another people out there and not just another machine (computer) in the other part of the world, you will show more concern about the person's success and problems.
