I live in Citra Raya - Tangerang, Banten. It lies only 40 to 50 kilometers from Jakarta, the most civilized town in Indonesia. But, living near Jakarta does not always mean that you will get everything like what Jakarta does. Gaps exist on many areas. Telecommunication is one of area where gap exists.
I am a subscriber of INDOSAT MATRIX, a cellular phone product of INDOSAT. If in Jakarta you always get signal for your cellphone, in Citra Raya, the signal is always not stable. You can get three bars of signal, then a minute later you will get SOS. I experience this every day while I am at home.
I have written about that on my other blog (in Bahasa Indonesia) but no progress has been made. Complaining directly to INDOSAT Customer Service will give you nothing. I believe that my complain will go nowhere. Temasek bring no progress to INDOSAT. It only cares to INDOSAT's profit, not customer's satisfaction. I do not argue that INDOSAT will never lead the telecommunication market in Indonesia. INDOSAT is satisfied to become number two or number three because being number one is to hard to achieve.
Only the best mastering market share and it is not INDOSAT.
