Google Alerts or Google Alert?

Do you have interests on something and want to know every single happening on that matters? I think that you have to subscribe to a service that allow you to be emailed about everything happened to your subject of interests. I don't care if you are interested in marketing, management, online business, bonsai, classic paintings or ... um, pornography. You decide them, not me.

But, let me tell you that you can use the service from Google Alerts. I have been served by Google Alerts and think that it gives me ability to always come up with my interests. Many thanks to Google for providing that service.

To use Google Alerts is easy. Just type the search terms of your interest than choose the type of search results you want to have (news, blogs, webs, comprehensive, videos, groups). After that specify how often you will be emailed (once a day, as it happens, once a week) and type your email address. Do not forget to click Create Alert because it is the reason why you fill in the forms! An email will be sent to you asking for your confirmation. Click the link provided in that email and yessss..... you will be emailed if there are something happen on the internet.

Second thing I found on the internet is Google Alert. Its name is Google Alert but it has no affiliation with Google. From its About page, Google Alert tells us about themselves:

Google Alert is the web's leading automated search and web intelligence solution for monitoring your professional interests online. It tracks the entire web for your personalized topics and sends you new results by daily email.

Different from Google Alerts that give you free service, Google Alert charge you $4.95 a month for personal service and $19.95 for professional service. I like the free service. If you want to now more about unfree service, please download its brochure.

Google Alert users give positive testimonies. I don't recommend you to choose Google Alert but please read their testimonies. Then, decide yourself whether you will choose Google Alerts or Google Alert.
